Raipur. Public Relations Department Secretary P. Dayanand directed the officers of the department to disseminate information about the schemes and programs of the state government to the last person of the society. He said that many public welfare schemes are being run by the Chhattisgarh government under the leadership of CM Vishnudev Sai. In the last 10 months, the state government has launched many flagship schemes for farmers, youth, women and the poor, which are bringing positive changes in the lives of people. He directed to give maximum publicity to the government's public welfare schemes through print, electronic, digital and social media. He was addressing the review meeting of departmental work at Chhattisgarh Samvad Bhawan in Nava Raipur today.
Dayanand said that various mediums of social media should be used as much as possible to increase the reach of schemes to the people. He said that all the officers should ensure to provide the news promptly to the news media.
He said that the language style of news should be simple, attractive and readable. The success story should use factual information and relevant photographs about the change in a person's life. Special articles regarding flagship schemes and innovative works of the state government should be issued regularly from time to time.
He said that hoardings related to urban schemes should be put up in urban areas and hoardings of schemes related to rural areas should be put up in the premises of tehsil headquarters and district panchayats.
In the meeting, he asked for maximum publicity of government works and flagship schemes by providing all necessary facilities in the district public relations offices. He also took information about the departmental set-up and inspected various branches of Chhattisgarh Samvad.
Director Public Relations Ajay Kumar Agarwal, Additional Director J.L. were present in the meeting. Dario, Umesh Mishra, Sanjeev Tiwari, Alok Dev, Santosh Maurya, Mrs. Harsha Puranic and other officers were present.
