Jharkhand News: The documentary “Man, Melody and Dolls” directed by Sanjay Tudu, resident of Teredih, Ghodanega of Chandil, has been officially selected in the National Competition category of Short and Documentary Films of the 30th Kolkata International Film Festival. This festival will be organized in Kolkata from 4 to 11 December 2024. This documentary is based on Chadar-Badouni, the ancient puppet art of Santali community. The film offers a glimpse into the life of Doman Murmu, a prominent artist who has played an important role in preserving and keeping this art form alive. Also, this film depicts the cultural heritage and traditions of the Santali community in a very sensitive manner.
