Raipur. To directly check the promptness and presence of the police at night, Senior Superintendent of Police, Raipur, Dr. Santosh Singh (I.P.S.) went out on bike patrol on Sunday night and personally checked a total of 51 patrolling points of Raipur.

During this time, some police personnel were standing on the sidelines, some were sitting in the dark and chatting, while some were watching reels on mobile. Who did not keep an eye on the people coming and going on the road. Senior Superintendent of Police Raipur reprimanded the police personnel deployed on such patrolling. Notices were issued to four soldiers while three alert police personnel were praised and asked to be given citations. While explaining the importance, method and purpose of visible policing to the employees found deficient, instructions were given to the patrolling teams of the police stations on many points including improving the response time.

It is noteworthy that night checking is being strengthened on the visibility instructions of the Chief Minister. A total of 51 patrolling points were checked by Senior Superintendent of Police Raipur while starting patrolling on bike from Telibandha pond. CSP Azad Chowk Aman Jha was also present with him.

During night patrolling, Senior Superintendent of Police Raipur dialed 112 from his personal phone number and said that he has been stabbed by two boys, please save me. After 5 minutes, a call came from the Dial 112 team and asked for the location but due to the Dial 112 location not being clear, it went to the other side of the Mahamaya temple, which caused delay. A similar point was also given to Purani Basti police station. On which the police station patrolling reached there within 8 minutes.
