First know what is Madua?

Madua is commonly known as Raji. It is a type of grain which contains many nutrients. Flour is prepared from this nutritious grain and is used. With its help nutritious dishes like roti, dosa, idli, cheela etc. are prepared.

1. Helps in reducing weight

Madua flour can help you in weight loss. If you are worried about increasing weight and are on diet, then include its roti in your regular diet. Sometimes, dosa and idli can also be prepared from madua to change the taste. It contains very less amount of fat and limited amount of calories is also found in it. Thus, it helps in controlling increasing weight.

2. It is very effective in diabetes

For diabetic patients, dishes made from madua flour are no less than a medicine. They contain sufficient amount of fiber and it prevents the increase in blood sugar level. Especially after eating it, one does not feel hungry again and again, due to which people in the condition of diabetes eat limited amount of food. Not only this, it is gluten free, so it is more beneficial. Diabetic patients must eat roti made from raji once a day.
