Raipur (Indian Railways). Due to the block in the Chakradharpur Railway Division of Chhattisgarh, the route of more than half a dozen trains has been changed, due to which passengers were seen facing problems at many stations. The work of connecting the third line between Adityapur-Kharagpur stations of Chakradharpur Railway Division of South Eastern Railway to Adityapur station has been going on continuously since September 16.
The operation of trains on this route will remain affected till September 27. Recently, the route of Mumbai-Howrah Mail arriving at Raipur station was also changed and sent via Waltair line.
During this time, passengers catching other trains from Bhatapara and Bilaspur stations faced a lot of trouble. Earlier, due to work on the third railway line between Darekasa-Salekasa-Dhanauli, Gudma-Gondia-Gangajhari and Kamthi-Kalamna, some trains were cancelled and run on diverted routes. Due to this also, passengers faced problems for several days.
These trains are affected due to the block
- Tatanagar-Bilaspur-Tatanagar Express will remain cancelled on 28th September.
- The route of Ara-Durg South Bihar Express will change on 27 September.
- South Bihar train leaving from Durg via this route will run on 28th September.
- On September 28, Howrah-Pune Duronto Express will also run on a diverted route.
Tirupati-Bilaspur Express will stop at Kovvuru station
On the demand of passengers, the weekly Tirupati-Bilaspur Express running between Tirupati and Bilaspur has been declared to have an experimental stoppage at Kovvuru station of South Central Railway. The railway has implemented the experimental stoppage from Saturday.
One AC-3 economy coach in Udaipur-Shalimar train
To provide confirmed berths to passengers, an additional facility of an AC-3 economy coach has been permanently provided in Udaipur-Shalimar-Udaipur Express. This facility will be available to passengers from Udaipur from October 5 and from Shalimar from October 6.
